The linear quality of stems and the fullness of flower buds are elements of inspiration. Every item is made by hand using the ancient Korean technique of Kum-boo to bond through heat and pressure thin sheets of 24 karat gold or fine silver to the surfaces of hollow forms. Items having a black patina are dipped in a natural chemical, coloring only the silver and leaving the rich buttery yellow of the gold.

Jayne Redman's jewelry is shown in the Orleans gallery, at 8 Cove Road.
