"Giclée" is a french word derived from a term meaning "spray of ink." A giclée is a beautiful and artistically correct, museum-quality print generated on a high quality digital Iris printer. In the giclée process, a fine stream of ink (millions of droplets per second) is sprayed onto archival paper or canvas, which is hand-mounted onto a rotating drum, creating the fine art print. The giclée print has astounding precision and quality with exceptional color saturation and contrast.
Michele Dangelo's giclée print of her original oil painting is a beautiful and affordable replica of a wonderful art piece. Michele's color approval and input were essential in creating the final custom setting for this limited edition.
