GAIL BESSETTE

When we stand before nature, we often experience emotions that cannot be easily defined or classified. Perhaps it’s wonder or awe, a lost love, a childhood long past, sadness, inspiration or religion. The feeling depends on the observer at a particular moment in his or her life. My painting seeks to capture that moment, what ever it may be, for whomever happens upon my creations.
