"The silence of ruins is audible "  P.Matvejevic

Traveling I see the ancient walls of temples, archeological ruins, unburied treasures, mysteries of time, cultural memories, the patterned inscriptions that trace our past, the role of the imagination in safe guarding human freedom of expression and human potential.      Fragments of Time : Buried Treasures, this series, honors a sense of the epic, of adventure, wonder and "discovered" links between the experience of ourselves and our distant ancestors.

The boats represent our journey through time , the 'oars' the balance and direction, the nautilus, the 450 million year old "living fossil", the imagined artifacts my personal archeology.
