John Wayne Jackson uses real leaves to create the patterns on his coasters and trivets. The base coloration comes from natural sands and minerals held together in a stone-like substance invented by John.
Coasters are left in their natural state for maximum absorbency; trivets are sealed so they can safely be used in the kitchen. They can be wiped clean and should not be submerged.
Repeated exposure to sunlight will lighten colors. Variations in color and texture are intentional, as each is a one-of-a-kind piece of art.
