Bonnie Garaventi

An artist who has crafted soulful & whimsical objects out of everything from silver to soap, Bonnie’s current focus is ceramics. As a potter, her work is inspired by the elemental energies of the natural world that infuses her life on Cape Cod. Working in stoneware and porcelain clay, her pieces often combine both wheel-throwing and hand-building techniques.

Her studies include Acorn Gallery School of Art in Marblehead, MA and The Clay School in Lynn, MA.
If you happen to find yourself strolling the trails along Scorton Creek in East Sandwich,MA, keep your eyes open for one of her garden gnomes – they’ve been known to escape into these woods from her nearby home studio.
